Can i picture myself in this book? why ,why not

As a independent individual I can Picture myself in a lot of positive envornments in the future weither if it’s  law school, mortitian parctice, or even having a house on the hill with a loving family. But as to viewing myself playing a role in the novel of mice in men is at a blur,  I couldn’t see myself prominently reading this book, getting this book read and completed was truly warfare for me it didn’t catch my intrest and It didn’t fit into my lifestyle, candidly because I have far more expectations and potential to be in this book my  personality stands out , I am an non violent individual , and my lifestyle isn’t always at the norm.

One strong way I couldn’t find myself in this book is because the lack of humor curly performed and more so in my perspective Lennie, he was about nature and animals and soft material George and Lennie performed relations as if they where cat and dog. Me personally prefer distance relationships with others not much of a peoples person at all.   Indefinatly couldn’t find myself in a farm like atmosphere.  Don’t get me wrong or confuse my agenda if I was to do a skit of mice and men I could pull it off but actually in the book wouldn’t at all cacth the center of my eye also known as a pupil.

Violence is my next point, of mice of men was at fate to violent acts the mascot of many scenes would be a gun. This one gun did so much in so little time accidents or not for example Lennie killed and innocent dog and another by an accident by just petting it to roughly. Featuring scenes frigid at heart George killed Lennie after all they been through trust must be at a limit with any and everyone. With further or due Lennie  murderd  Curly’s wife with a gun also. I couldn’t view myself in any of these scenes it’s not my lifestyle and I have better things to do at my acess than to be apart of a violence riot.

Last but not least my own reasons I couldn’t play a role in this book and or movie because simply I just wouldn’t fit in at all. Maybe I’m a bit conceited or ungreatful to be in a back in the day act with all said and done im jus not fit to the test of being apart of mice and men the title didn’t even intrest me It was a battle with myself to look pass my flaws and more so at my intuations to get what I have to get done.  Boring isn’t what im looking for.

Looking at myself and how I live and survive day to day I’m far from George and Lennie and their experiences we are complete opposite in everything done. Especially personality our indenities are’nt even close.

What is a main symbol of violence in this book?

mostly black and made of stell hot bullets but cool smoke arising the air signatured smith and wesson symbolized as a gun. many scenes of mice and men reminds me of the gun violence in my area of town, like that time when George and Lennie or when that innocent dog was shot and killed guns been a factor that effects us all in a way weither if its used during hunting or just raw cold hearted violence.

Lennie keep rubbing on soft things but why?

BETWEEN THE LINE.

Lennie has issues......an identified chronic problem with Lennie is his attractive eye with soft material things and one scene he was caught rubbing on curly wife's hair and in another he acrimoniously killed and abused a dog by induring his soft fur by all means accidental. not to mention the reason for leaving the first town was because of his prominent urge to massage a woman's skirt. ....10pts.

Pros vs. Cons C.H.S

Like any other learning institution Constitution high school will have its reflection of darkness as well as sunlight. But in partnership as a community and a school it’s up to them to make things better. So the essential but prominent question is what is C.H.S strength and weaknesses? And how can the body of the school make them more and less relevant. After talking to many pupils and staff members of C.H.S the state of mind is at blank, but urgent to know more. Popular since 2007 Tevora Johnson shared her issues and she complained “ Constitution High School is good for my future but not my entertainment more boys and less demerits.” but here to compare Mr. Carpenter stated” his job is more exciting everyday he learns more from his students than his lesson plans.”

One conspicuous topic of negativity floating around through the shallow halls of C.H.S was the merit and demerit system. It is often described in a arrogant manor with hatred to upset your stomach.” ugh! I hate the demerit and merit system it’s irrelevant.,” says one of the sophomores Ishmael Johnson. “to know the system is to hate the system.” says Dyneisha Dyson. est. 2008 the demirit system was created into the daily ciriculam of Con. High it changed the school as a whole but for the better or worst? To 85% of the staff board it’s to keep students in a more constructive way of behaving. but 90% of piers and pupils totally disagree. in a way the school community can over come the demirit and merit system. C.H.S is known for having a powerful government group that created the uniform policy and the lunch bill. is one was to come together and one body they could do it if they put their mind to it.

Positivity comes in the picture also. “Constitution High School offers a lot with the 90min. classes and history/law courses.” said Shaquille Davenport. Miss dagistino actually have a minor problem with the time period on her case ..” even though our school is college prepatory I think 90mins. is to long for students to sit in one place.” also Con high has freedom unlike most public and porokial schools, they have a lunch bill, uniform rights, trips, etc.  so there's a side and a opinon to everything. disliked, empyrean or envied it's still something to  face as you walk the shallow hallways of Constitution high school wither good or bad, pros or cons its issues to put up with.

but the majority of the interviews that where surveyed positivity of constitution high school took the lead.

- - - . . . - - - Moise code S.O.S can be expressed in many ways a call for help, urgent emergencias, A.S.A.P. Let’s examine our novalist Amiri Baraka and his personal connection for help S.O.S. The title jumps out to me like an moving animation as a reaction I had to take interest. Historical connections from this poem is so real all of my senses attend to alert. Opening my eyes to see the light Amiri Baraka meant so much but said so little. And highly recognition of conjecture is deeply identified. The fright of her engaging but silent voice was so intense it left me in tears. Save Our Souls “calling all man women and child come in.”

I can touch her soul as she cries out, I can feel her pain, and I can see people conjugating as one, I can hear her voice cry, and I can taste the bitterness of her suffering. And to wipe away all sorrow I pay close attention to her request and even more to her commands. This poem was made for the recursion of her culture and to complete the end to their change. A call for help S.O.S she is counting on us. Us as a family, community, and most importantly as one.” Where ever you are come in.”

The setting to me seems as if she’s right in the middle of the violent North Philly streets. Speaking to all statistics, drug dealers, drop out, gang wars.etc. calling them in. At the same time frame recognizing her culture and expect more. No racism occurred. The author of this poem is highly in depth with her topic im positive it will draw. Any reader in. In a way I Want to stand next to her but do I see myself in the crowd, which she speaks out to? In a way yes in her call S.O.S in my perspective she’s also talking to me and everyone in my surroundings. Not statistically but and another way that does but don’t make any sense. She expects more and know her people for who they are and what they are capable of doing without knowing the personally. She knows her African American culture can do better and can achieve anything the can put their mind to. Young dropouts is not the way, gang wars is not the way, being a drug dealer is not the way.” where ever you are come in.”

Stoicismly putting me in deep thought, I need to get my life together and get it done quickly. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Sorrow, Pain, Suffering, ends here and now. Reunite as one, stand as one, walk as one, and talk as one. Inexplicably I am with her as she explains this. I was with her since day one without even knowing her as a person only as a writer. And to acknowledge that I take heed to what she is point out the disadvantages of her culture. I will try and strive to treat others as I would want to be treated. I will ignore all negativity and think only of the postivie. To mean so much but say so little, I understood everything this poem speaks about. I can relate to every line and word. I can understand it’s so real that it’s unreal this was a poem I could actually relate to.

To call for help directing to a society so big and so arrogant is so hard but worth every time put into it.S.O.S by Amiri Baraka.a call for help disadvantages recognized You can call for help in many ways even 911 would help but in this case it’s totally different a whole new ballgame. Just the author and her people face to face lets solve all of our problems and issues together. We are not alone we are one somebody please save our souls S.O.S. In God we trust please save our souls .

N.H.D reflection 2009

This year i worked with Tevora Johnson and Ishmael Johnson. we did an exhibit of Walter E. Disney. of actions and legacies. it included 30 annotations a refelction paper and TEAM WORK. we worked hard to recieve our goal. Walter Disney was legend of our time he achieved so much and so little time, he was the first annimator to make a movie with sound. He achieved over 30awards and he didnt even finish high school. he was brought up on a farm with his older brother Roy and his younger sister. This man was a Film producer, screen writer, voice actor an animator and much more. he influced history in many ways that others couldn't to him it wasn't about the money it was about people coming together and having fun with one another.

MY PROBLEMS.
I didn't recieve alot of problems this year except for one big one STRESS. sometimes our pictures wouldn't print because of paper jams. or just the rush of the whole NHD. i would get frustrated fast if glue spilled or if i was out of words to say on our reflection paper it was hard and i understood the fact that it was 65% of our grade. so it had to be good but not a rush at the same time so that brought on stress. but in the end we conducted a wonderful project that i can honestly say was great even though we didn't go to the round i liked and is satisfied with my project and what i have learned . i learned so much in so little time that i didn't know about him and now im stronger and wiser physically and mentally WALT DISNEY made me better as a whole.

THINGS I WOULD'VE DID DIFFERENT.
i wouldv'e put more heart into it instead of just looking at it as it was just a project because i think it would've been better if we put more passion into it. last year i did an documentary and this year i did exhibit i think exhibit is easier and harder in the same way. i think a Walt Disney presentation should be given in a documentary. it expresses him more than a paper or exhibit can. but in the end i loved it and its a project i can truly apresiate
